Roiva billing is handled through Stripe, and only the account's Owner can open it. Admins see **Billing** grayed out in Organization Settings.

#### Viewing your plan

**Organization Settings → Billing** shows your plan, its status and billing period, and usage: initiatives measured, connections and seats against your plan's limits, and this month's Roiva Assistant use. Seats count the people in the account plus invitations still waiting for an answer: an invitation holds a seat until it's accepted, expires or is revoked.

- **Plans**: the Billing page names yours. **Free** is the free account, with no expiry: 3 initiatives measured at a time, 3 connections and 10 seats. A Slack connection only posts notifications, so it doesn't count toward any plan's connection limit. Paid plans, on the [pricing page](https://roiva.ai/pricing), are priced by how many initiatives you measure at a time, and none limits connections or seats; the Billing page names them **Growth**, **Scale** and **Enterprise**. Which one you're on is set in your agreement, which can also set different limits, and the **Plan usage** card shows the ones that apply.
- **Which initiatives count**: on every plan, only the ones being measured. An initiative counts once it's Implementing or Live, or paused from either, and from the first value recorded on it while it's still Identified or In review, whether a person enters it or a system linked to it as a value source books it. Drafts don't count, such as the figures read from an uploaded document, and a formula doesn't book anything on an idea until it starts. Ideas with no value don't count, so list as many as you like. Completing, retiring, rejecting or dismissing one frees its place; a closed initiative keeps the value it had and takes none for a month after it closed. Sample data doesn't count. When you're at the limit, approving an initiative, recording that one went live, or recording the first value on an idea waits until a place is free, and a linked system's value for an idea is skipped until then.
- **Initiatives on paid plans**: each plan measures a set number at a time, in any function: 10, 25 or 50, or what your agreement sets. They count the same way as on Free.
- **What every plan has, Free included**: approvals and the rule that whoever recorded a value entry doesn't approve it, versioned formulas, closing a month, CSV imports, budgets, decisions, the ROI report, the audit log, single sign-on (OAuth and SAML providers, see [Sign-in and security](https://roiva.ai/docs/sign-in-and-security)) and every industry's templates. So does **Aggregate figures only**, for an account whose vendor review hasn't cleared (see [Aggregate figures only: a note for your risk team](https://roiva.ai/docs/aggregate-figures-only)).
- **Paid-plan features**: unlimited connections (Free holds 3), the reporting tables, the read API and MCP access come with every paid plan. A setting your plan doesn't include is grayed out and says what includes it.
- **Functions**: every plan covers every function. Customer Support, Finance & Accounting and Sales have their own integrations and templates, but none is sold separately, and none limits which initiatives you can measure. Allocation rules and accounting periods come with every plan too (see [Allocation rules and accounting periods](https://roiva.ai/docs/allocation-rules-and-accounting-periods)).
- **Industry packs** are an industry's templates. Every plan includes all of them, Free too.

#### Upgrading or changing plans

On the Free plan, the Owner can subscribe to **Growth** or **Scale**: choose **Choose a plan** on the Billing page (or any **Upgrade** link), pick the plan that holds the initiatives you measure, and pay yearly through Stripe by card or bank transfer (ACH). The plan changes as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, which can take a few business days for a bank transfer. For **Enterprise**, an invoice or purchase order, a quote, or founding-customer terms, use **Request an upgrade** on the same page instead: it sends the founder your request with the account's usage, and lets you pick a time to talk it through. Anyone who isn't an Owner can send that request too. To have Roiva set up the first number for you, there's the [30-Day ROI Readout](https://roiva.ai/readout) on one initiative, at a fixed fee credited in full against the first year. To change plans once you're on one, choose **Contact Support** in the help menu (?) or email hello@roiva.ai.

#### Invoices, receipts and payment details

On a paid plan (not during a trial), **Open Billing Portal** on the Billing page opens Stripe's customer portal, where you can update your payment method, download invoices, and see your billing history. The **Billing Details** form on the Billing page holds the billing email, and the billing country and state or region used for tax. Choose **Save Changes** to update them.

#### Canceling

Choose **Contact Support** in the help menu (?) or email hello@roiva.ai. Once a cancellation is scheduled, the **Current Plan** card on the Billing page says it cancels at the end of the billing period, and you keep your plan until then. After that the account moves to the Free plan, and any limits raised in your agreement end. Nothing is deleted, but anything new you add has to fit the Free plan's limits, and the reporting tables, the read API and MCP access switch off. Single sign-on keeps working, because the Free plan includes it: if your team signs in only through your identity provider, it still does, so keep that provider's Roiva app in place.

To delete the account and its data instead, the Owner can use **Organization Settings → General → Danger Zone**. Download a full export first (see [Your data: exports and deletion](https://roiva.ai/docs/your-data-exports-and-deletion)).
