Common use cases
- Track meeting load changes before and after deploying AI meeting tools
- Measure reductions in time-in-meetings as AI summaries and async tools take hold
- Use calendar volume as a baseline for productivity initiatives
How to connect
- In Roiva: Connect via OAuth — you will be redirected to Microsoft to authorize
- In Microsoft: Grant read access to your Outlook Calendar (read-only, no email access required). If your organization lets only admins approve apps, a Microsoft Entra admin approves Roiva once for everyone, under Enterprise applications → Roiva → Permissions
- In Teams (optional, for notifications): In the channel you want Roiva to post to, choose ⋯ → Connectors → Incoming Webhook, name it Roiva and copy the generated URL
- Back in Roiva (optional): Paste that URL into the Notification Webhook URL field and tick which notifications the channel should receive
- Back in Roiva: The connection page checks each step and says what's missing. Once it's all ticked, click Test Connection
- Back in Roiva: After connecting, link this connection to an initiative on the Initiatives tab
Tips for capturing value
- Meeting count and total meeting hours are strong leading indicators for AI productivity initiatives
- Calendar metrics work best as supporting evidence alongside primary outcome metrics (e.g. revenue, CSAT)
- Pair with a CRM or support integration to show meeting reduction alongside business outcomes
