Brex
Corporate card and spend platform. Brex card transactions surface the AI-tool seat sprawl that bypasses Accounts Payable — ChatGPT Plus, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Perplexity — billed directly to corporate cards and invisible to QuickBooks / Xero / NetSuite.
What gets synced
Roiva syncs the following data types from Brex to populate your initiative metrics.
- Card Transactions
Common use cases
- Capture per-seat AI subscriptions (ChatGPT Plus, Cursor, Copilot) charged to corporate cards
- Backfill historical AI-tool spend that never hit AP into initiative cost baselines
- Auto-attribute future card charges from matched vendors to the right initiative
How to connect
- In Roiva: Connect via OAuth — you will be redirected to Brex to authorize
- In Brex: The authorizing user needs the transactions.card.readonly scope
- Back in Roiva: The connection page checks each step and says what's missing. Once it's all ticked, click Test Connection
- After connecting, Roiva will sync 12 months of card transactions and surface matching vendors in the initiative baseline accelerator
Tips for capturing value
- Brex covers card spend only — pair with QuickBooks / Xero / NetSuite for full AP coverage
- The cost-baseline accelerator scans both bills (QBO/Xero/NetSuite) and Brex card transactions, so a single accept can route both sources to the same initiative
- Refunds and chargebacks are stored with negative amounts so monthly rollups net correctly
